Kismet and a camcorder

I just had a brainstorm of something I want to try.
Part of the idea came today when the building I recently moved to had a false fire alarm. We got notice to leave, but as we were walking to the stairwells near the elevator lobby, we got the all clear signal. As I walked back to my cube, I remembered another stairwell near a storeroom. ( no exit sign above this one ) I opened the door and looked down, and it seems to go all the way. ( I'm on the 30th floor )

My first thought is, I want try it as an exit, since it will be less used during a real emergency, and see which floors are unlocked, and where the exits are.

My second thought is, maybe run kismet on my n810 while I walk.

My third thought, since gps won't mean anything vertically, maybe take video capture on the way down, starting both kismet and the cam at the same time for place reference.
( also, there are still remodeling teams on some of the floors, and I noticed some utility panels open on the floor below.)

It will be interesting to see what's available and open in the stairwell while finding the exits in an emergency.

btw, if anyone has had success getting the internal gps on a nokia tablet to play nice with kismet, please share.
